    This topic describes how to reference the configuration of an existing data migration task.

    Reference the configuration of a task

    Important

    A data migration task in the Not Configured state supports configuration reference.

    1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for OceanBase console.

    2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Transmission > Data Migration.

    3. On the Migrate Data page, click Reference Configuration next to the target task.

    4. In the Reference Configuration dialog box, select an existing task from the drop-down list.

      Note

      The configuration information of the selected task will be cloned to the current task.

    5. Click OK. Complete the configuration of the data migration task as prompted.

      You can use the same configuration as the referenced data migration task, or modify the configuration as needed. For more information, see the topic about how to configure a data migration task of a specific source type.

      After the cloned data migration task is started, the migration subtasks will be executed based on the selected migration types. For more information, see View details of a data migration task.
