Billable items
Computing is separated from storage in ApsaraDB for Cassandra so that you can separately scale computing and storage resources. This enables high flexibility. The computing is performed on the nodes of your ApsaraDB for Cassandra instance. Expenses for using ApsaraDB for Cassandra are generated based on the specifications of nodes and the types of cloud disks attached to nodes.
Pricing of nodes
NoteIn an ApsaraDB for Cassandra instance for production use, you must configure multiple nodes and data replicas. The number of nodes must be greater than or equal to the number of data replicas so that the nodes and data replicas are redundant. This way, a failover can be performed if a node becomes faulty or a storage failure occurs.
