This topic describes the functions in Batch Settings.
In Batch Settings, you can separately set an email account or department and its sub-departments as follows:
Reset Password
If the employee enters the wrong password or forgets the password many times when logging in to the mailbox, the mailbox cannot be logged in, the postmaster can reset the password here. After the reset, employee can log in again.
First, select the operation object>> select Reset Password>> enter the new password twice, and click Confirm.
If you select Change Password Upon First Logon, the system will automatically ask employees to change their passwords when they login with the new password for the first time.
Mail Sending and Receiving Restrictions
Disallow the External Send means prohibit external sending. Employees can send internal email under the same domain name, but they cannot send emails to third-party domain names. If select Allow, employees can send internal emails to the accounts with the same domain name and emails to third-party domain names.
Allow the External Receive means an internal account can receive emails from a foreign domain. If it is Disallow, it means it cannot.
First select the operation object>> check the Mail sending and receiving restrictions>> click Allow or Disallow of External Send or External Receive>> and click Confirm.
If you want to set exceptions for Disallow option, click Set Exceptions>> In the dialog box that appears, click Manage or add email addresses or domain name>> Fill the corresponding email addresses or domain name>> Click Ok to save>> Return the previous page and click Confirm to save.
POP3/SMTP Service Switch
The IMAP and POP services are used to configure third-party clients to send and receive emails. As shown in the following figure, if you select it, it means open the service for employee accounts.
Security issues and Secure Mobile Phones
If postmaster needs to stipulate the employees to set security issues and bind the mobile phone, you can select Turn on security issues and security phone settings.
If the employee needs to change the bound mobile phone number, you can select Phone Unbinding option to give the employee the permission to operate on their own.
If the employee forgets the answer to the previously set security issues, the postmaster can click Unbundling security issues to unbind.
Auto-forward Permission Switch
If you Allow the Auto-forward, it means that the mailbox account in the domain can automatically forward mails to another mailbox. If it is Disallow, it means it is not allowed.
Enterprise Address Book Sharing Rights
Here postmaster can set whether an employee account or certain accounts can be displayed in the company address book.
If you select Share, then the accounts will appear in the company address book.
If you select Not Share, then the accounts will not be displayed in the company address book.
