The Alibaba Mail Account Did Not Receive The External Emails While Other Recipients Received Normally

Description

Send emails to multiple recipients through external mailboxes. All the other mailboxes can receive emails normally, but Alibaba Mail cannot receive emails from external mailboxes.

Cause

If an email has multiple recipients, it will be split into multiple recipients for separate delivery during the actual delivery process. Therefore, there is a possibility that other external mailboxes can receive the email, but Alibaba Mail cannot receive it. As for why Alibaba Mail cannot receive mail, there may be several reasons:

• The email address is incorrectly filled in.

• The Alibaba Mail received the email, but mail did not comply with the security policy. So we rejected or blocked the email.

Solution

If Alibaba Mail rejects or blocks an email, you may not be aware of it, but Alibaba Mail will return the email and provide an error message to the sender. Therefore, please confirm with the sender whether the return notice has been received, and deal with it according to the results:

• Received the return notification from Alibaba Mail: Please handle according to the error message in the notification.

• No return notification from the Alibaba Mail: the email has not been delivered to the Alibaba Mail, so it cannot receive the email or give an error prompt. Check whether the email address is incorrect.
