5. How often does the Intelligent Advisor patrol?

Different patrol items have different automatic patrol frequencies, and each patrol item will conduct regular batch patrol of cloud resource instances. In addition to RDS index recommendation and SQL optimization, the results are extracted every 3 minutes, and other patrol items are inspected every 24 hours.

6. Will the intelligent advisor patrol affect the server performance?

Cloud resource patrol is to obtain cloud resource information through OpenAPI, which will not affect the performance of client and server.

The application architecture patrol will obtain the application architecture and network information through the probe of the installation service, which will occupy a small amount of CPU, memory and network resources.

7.What is the data source of the intelligent advisor patrol?

12. Explanation of complex rules of intelligent advisor patrol

The intelligent advisor sets the time range, measurement threshold and sampling result proportion data through rule editing. The system collects the data of an instance within X days by default, with one indicator value per minute. If XX% (collection result proportion) of these indicator values is lower than XX% (measurement threshold), the scene will appear in the patrol report synchronously.

Taking ECS idle resource check as an example, the rule editing is shown in the figure above. By default, the system collects data for a certain instance within 7 days, one indicator value per minute. If 90% of these indicator values (sampling result proportion) are lower than 5% (measurement threshold), the scene will appear in the patrol report synchronously. At present, some patrols use this set of rules. With the iterative development of products, more diversified patrols will be added in the future.
