    How do I register a domain name with HiChina?

    Alibaba Cloud provides various domain name registration services. You can register a domain name on the Alibaba Cloud Domain Name service platform.
    Step 1: Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Domain Registration page, search for a domain name and a suffix in the search box. If the domain name has a Taken tag, the domain name was registered by others. You need to change the domain name or suffix. If the domain name does not have a Taken tag, the domain name is not registered. You can add the domain name to your cart and register the domain name.
    Step 2: Go to the cart panel, select the domain name that you want to purchase, select a duration, add the registrant information, agree to the Domain Name service agreement, and then pay for the order.

    How do I modify the registrant information of a domain name?

    If the registrant information of your domain name changes, such as changes in the email address, address, and contact method of the domain name registrant, you must modify the information about the domain name registrant at the earliest opportunity.
    Step 1: Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Domain Names console.
    Step 2: On the Domain Names page, click the domain name that you want to manage to go to the Basic Information page. In the left-side navigation pane, click Info Modification. The Registrant Info Modification tab appears.
    Step 3: On the Registrant Info Modification tab, enter the information about the new registrant, click Save, and then complete the transfer as prompted.

    How do I renew my domain name?
    A
    To extend the validity period of a registered domain name and ensure that the domain name can run as expected, you must renew the domain name before it expires.
    Step 1: Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Domain Names console by using the Alibaba Cloud account and password to which the domain name belongs.
    Step 2: On the Domain Names page, click the Domain Names to Be Renewed tab. On this tab, select the domain name that you want to renew, and click Renew in the Actions column.
    Step 3: Select the Domain Names service agreement and pay for the order. The domain name is renewed after the payment is complete.

    How do I transfer my domain name to HiChina?
    A
    If you have registered a domain name with another domain name registrar and want to transfer the domain name to Alibaba Cloud for management, you can use the domain name transfer feature to transfer the domain name to Alibaba Cloud.
    Step 1: Before you transfer the domain name, check the domain name and make sure that the domain name can be transferred, and obtain the password used for transfer from the original registrar.
    Step 2: Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Domain Names console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Domain Transfers-In. On the Transfer-in page, click Transfer In in the upper-right corner.
    Step 3: Enter the domain name and transfer password, and click Submit. Then, select the template in which information is filled, and complete the payment.
    Step 4: The system automatically verifies whether the transfer password is correct. If the transfer password is valid, the domain name transfer starts. The transfer process is usually complete within five to seven days based on the rules of the domain name registry.
