About Tao Kae Noi
Established in 2004, Tao Kae Noi is a leading food company, manufacturer and distributor of crispy seaweed snacks, founded by Itthipat Peeradechapan. The company operates across three food and beverage segments: snacks, restaurants, and seasoning powder, and its business operations span over 37 countries.
Challenge
Tao Kae Noi decided to make inroads into Mainland China to seek its global expansion goals, but its existing infrastructure could not meet the increasing business requirements. In particular, it needed to build an email collaboration platform for its new branch office in mainland China, capable of sending and receiving emails to both internal and external organizations within China as well as back to its head office in Thailand. Moreover, the solution needed to be able to withstand the company's complex needs, while complying with local regulatory requirements.

Architecture
Tao Kae Noi leveraged Alibaba Mail (AliMail) to meet its complex needs as it is the only email service provider (ESP) in the industry that supports public cloud services and provides fast, secure, and stable services. Alibaba Mail enabled Tao Kae Noi to host its corporate and business emails for its Mainland China-based customer office. In addition to sending and receiving emails, Alibaba Mail helped Tao Kae Noi to keep track of events and appointments and stay organized through integrated features such as email management, online calendar, and contact management. By working seamlessly with existing office software applications, Alibaba Mail provides a brand-new collaboration software solution for Tao Kae Noi to achieve better scalability and integration capability.
