However, the COVID-related travel restrictions made it difficult for the company to set up and manage its office and infrastructure operations locally. In addition, Alibaba Cloud's broad portfolio of cloud solutions and pay-as-you-go pricing models encouraged the company to join hands with Alibaba Cloud.

The end-to-end assistance offered by Alibaba Cloud's technical team helped LAWSGROUP seamlessly deploy its mission-critical applications on the cloud. The company reduced application server procurement and deployment timeframe from 6 months to 2 weeks using Alibaba Cloud services. Further, Alibaba Cloud CEN enabled the company to build a high-speed and low latency enterprise network to facilitate the seamless exchange of business-critical information between different global facilities.

LAWSGROUP leveraged an array of Alibaba Cloud networking solutions, such as Cloud Enterprise Network and Express Connect, to achieve its global expansion goals. Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN), in particular, helped the company easily set up a distributed global network to connect its different regional facilities. CEN enabled the company to reduce network latency and packet loss during the exchange of sensitive business information, such as factory production capacity and inventory details, between different regional offices. The establishment of a high-speed, low latency global network reduced the communication errors between merchandising and production teams of the company by 90 percent. The production planning time was also improved by 50 percent due to the rapid exchange of production and supply chain data between different regional teams.

In addition to Alibaba Cloud CEN, LAWSGROUP leveraged Alibaba Cloud Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) to successfully deploy and manage the complete lifecycle of its containerized applications on the cloud. ACK offered the much-needed security required by the company for running its applications on the cloud.
