When the pay-as-you-go + storage plans billing method is used for the storage of your clusters, the storage plans are first deducted for the consumed storage capacity. After your storage plans are exhausted, you are charged for the excess storage on a pay-as-you-go basis. This topic describes the billing rules for this billing method.

Rules for the deduction of storage plans

Note Storage plans can be used only on clusters that use the pay-as-you-go billing method for storage, and cannot be used on clusters that use the subscription billing method for storage.
Storage plans can be used to deduct consumed storage capacity based on specific ratios. The following table lists the ratios.
