Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN) instances are basic network resources that are used to manage interconnected networks. Transit routers are deployed on CEN instances. A CEN instance contains one or more transit routers. To establish network communication among network instances in the same region or different regions, you can create inter-region connections to connect transit routers in different regions. Before you can use transit routers to establish network communication, you must create a CEN instance.
Create a CEN instance
Log on to the CEN console.
On the Instances page, click Create CEN Instance.
In the Create CEN Instance dialog box, configure the parameters and click OK. The following table describes the parameters.
Parameter
Description
Name
Enter a name for the CEN instance.
Description
Enter a description for the CEN instance.
Resource Group
Select a resource group for the CEN instance.
If you do not select a resource group, the CEN instance is added to the default resource group.
You can manage CEN resources and resource groups in the Resource Management console. For more information, see What is Resource Management?
Tag
Add tags to the CEN instance.
Tag Key: The tag key cannot be an empty string. The tag key can be up to 64 characters in length. The key cannot start with
acs:
oraliyun
or containhttp://
orhttps://
.Tag Value: The tag value can be an empty string. The tag value can be up to 128 characters in length. The tag value cannot start with
acs:
oraliyun
or containhttp://
orhttps://
.
You can add one or more tags to a CEN instance. For more information about tags, see Manage tags.
Delete a CEN instance
Before you delete a CEN instance, make sure that all transit routers of the CEN instance meet the following requirements:
No network instance connections are created on the transit router. For more information, see the following topics:
The transit router does not contain custom route tables. For more information, see Delete a custom route table.
The default route table of the transit router does not contain custom route entries, prefix lists, or aggregate routes. For more information, see the following topics:
The transit router is not associated with a multicast domain. For more information, see Delete a multicast domain.
The transit router is not associated with traffic marking policies. For more information, see Delete a traffic marking policy.
Before you delete a CEN instance, make sure that the CEN instance is not associated with a bandwidth plan. For more information, see Disassociate a bandwidth plan from a CEN instance.
Log on to the CEN console.
On the Instances page, find the CEN instance that you want to delete and click Delete in the Actions column.
In the Delete CEN Instance message, check the ID of the CEN instance and click OK.
