If you directly deactivate Alibaba Cloud CDN, your business may be interrupted. Therefore, Alibaba Cloud does not allow you to deactivate Alibaba Cloud CDN in the console. However, if you do not add domain names to Alibaba Cloud CDN or use features such as EdgeRoutine, you are not charged for Alibaba Cloud CDN. This is equivalent to deactivating Alibaba Cloud CDN. You can perform the following operations to stop the billing of Alibaba Cloud CDN:
Disable real-time log delivery: If you have enabled the real-time log delivery feature, disable the feature and clear the logs that are stored in Log Service before you remove domain names. For more information, see Configure real-time log delivery.
Disable log storage: If you have enabled the log storage feature, disable the feature and clear the logs that are stored in Object Storage Service (OSS) before you remove domain names. For more information, see Use Function Compute to deliver logs.
Delete routines: If you have activated EdgeRoutine, delete routines before you remove domain names. For more information, see Work with ER in the Alibaba Cloud CDN console.
Remove domain names: If you have added domain names to Alibaba Cloud CDN, remove all domain names. After you remove the domain names, Alibaba Cloud CDN disables the acceleration service and stops charging you for the domain names. For more information, see Disable or remove an accelerated domain name.
