This topic describes how to implement the enterprise-specific conversational search feature by using an OpenSearch LLM-Based Conversational Search Edition instance.
(Optional) Grant permissions to a RAM user
If you use OpenSearch as a Resource Access Management (RAM) user, grant permissions to the RAM user based on your business requirements.
1. Attach the AliyunOpenSearchFullAccess system policy to grant the full permissions on OpenSearch.
2. Attach the AliyunOpenSearchReadOnlyAccess system policy to grant the read-only permissions on OpenSearch.
You can also grant the permissions on an instance. For more information, see Create and authorize RAM users.
Purchase an instance
For more information, see Purchase an OpenSearch LLM-Based Conversational Search Edition instance.
Configure the instance
Go to the Instance Management page in the OpenSearch console. Find the instance that you purchase and click Manage in the Actions column to go to the instance details page.
On the instance details page, choose Configuration Center > Data Configuration in the left-side pane to upload data. You can import data by using a web page URL or uploading a file. For more information, see Import data. In this example, a file is uploaded to import data. Click Import File. In the Import File panel, click Upload Local File in a section based on the format of your file, select the file to be used, and then wait until the file is parsed. Then, click Upload File. For information about supported data formats, click Data Sample in the section.
Click Data Sample to view supported data formats.
After you upload data in a supported format and the file is parsed, you can perform a conversational search test.
Perform a conversational search test
In the left-side pane, click Q&A Test. On the Q&A Test page, enter questions.
