If you need to back up a large amount of data within the specified backup time window, you can change the maximum backup speed in Database Backup (DBS) by configuring the Maximum Concurrent Threads for Full Data Backup and Backup network speed limit parameters for a backup schedule.
Parameter description
Maximum Concurrent Threads for Full Data Backup
This parameter is in positive correlations with the backup speed and the impact on the performance of the source database. You can configure this parameter for the physical and logical backup schedules of all types of databases.

Backup network speed limit
If you configure this parameter, the backup speed is limited by network bandwidths. You can configure this parameter only for the physical backup schedules of MySQL and Oracle databases. By default, this parameter is set to 0, which indicates that the backup speed is not limited.
NoteIf you want to limit the network bandwidth of a backup schedule, we recommend that you configure this parameter and do not modify the Maximum Concurrent Threads for Full Data Backup parameter.
Procedure
Change the maximum backup speed when you create a backup schedule
When you create a backup schedule, configure the maximum number of parallel threads for a full backup and Backup network speed limit parameters. For more information, see Configure a backup schedule or Backup and restoration overview.
Change the maximum backup speed when you modify a backup schedule
On the details page of the backup schedule, click Backup Time and Advanced Settings. On the page that appears, configure the maximum number of parallel threads for a full backup and Backup network speed limit parameters. For more information, see Modify the backup time and advanced settings.
