Web Application Firewall:Refund policy

If your Web Application Firewall (WAF) instance meets the refund conditions, you can contact your account manager or solution architect to apply for a refund. This topic describes the refund conditions for subscription WAF instances, pay-as-you-go WAF instances, and security capacity unit (SeCU) resource plans.

Subscription

If you want to unsubscribe from your subscription WAF instance and the instance meets the following conditions, contact your account manager or solution architect to apply for a refund:

  • The instance was purchased in the previous five days.

  • The instance was not used.

Pay-as-you-go

If you use a pay-as-you-go WAF instance, you are charged based on your actual resource usage.

If you no longer require a pay-as-you-go WAF instance, you can release the instance. After you release a pay-as-you-go WAF instance, you are no longer charged for the instance.

SeCU resource plan

If you want to unsubscribe from your SeCU resource plan and the SeCU resource plan meets the following conditions, contact your account manager or solution architect to apply for a refund:

  • The SeCU resource plan was purchased in the previous five days.

  • The SeCU resource plan was not used.

Important

A SeCU resource plan has a validity period of one month or one year. After a SeCU resource plan expires, you cannot apply for a refund.
