Overdue payments
Scenario | Description | Operation |
You are notified that your payment will be due. | For pay-as-you-go instances, the system determines whether your Alibaba Cloud account balance is sufficient to pay for the next three billing cycles based on the average payable amount during the previous 7 hours. If your Alibaba Cloud account balance is insufficient, the system notifies you by text message or email. Warning Alibaba Cloud notifies you before your payment becomes overdue. To prevent business interruptions, we recommend that you add funds to your account at the earliest opportunity. | |

If your Alibaba Cloud account has an overdue payment for more than 15 days, you are deemed to voluntarily discard your pay-as-you-go instances. In this case, Alibaba Cloud releases the instances and deletes the data on the instances. | The released instances cannot be restored. |
