VPN Gateway:Enable SSL-VPN

If the SSL-VPN feature is disabled for the VPN gateway that you create, you can directly enable the SSL-VPN feature for the VPN gateway without the need to create a new VPN gateway.

Limits

  • If your VPN gateway was created before January 20, 2018 and you have not upgraded the VPN gateway, you must upgrade the VPN gateway before you enable the SSL-VPN feature for your VPN gateway. For more information, see Upgrade a VPN gateway.

    If your VPN gateway was created before January 20, 2018 and the VPN Gateway has been upgraded, you can directly enable the SSL-VPN feature for your VPN gateway.

  • If your VPN gateway was created after January 20, 2018, you can directly enable the SSL-VPN feature for your VPN gateway.

Effective time

The SSL-VPN feature immediately takes effect after you enable this feature for a VPN gateway. However, latency may occur due to network issues. You may need to wait for a few minutes.

Impacts on billing

After you modify a VPN gateway and submit the order, the system bills the VPN gateway based on the new configuration. For more information, see Billing rules.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the VPN Gateway console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the VPN gateway resides.

  3. On the VPN Gateways page, find the VPN gateway that you want to manage and click Enable next to SSL Disabled in the Feature Configuration column.

  4. On the configurations page, select Enable for the SSL-VPN parameter, select the number of SSL connections, read and select the Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment.
