You can enable the IPv6 feature in the ApsaraVideo VOD console. After you enable IPv6, clients can send requests to the Content Delivery Network (CDN) over the IPv6 protocol. CDN also includes the client's IPv6 address in requests that are forwarded to your origin server.
Background information
Most Alibaba Cloud CDN points of presence (POPs) support IPv6 requests. After you enable IPv6, users in an IPv6 environment can connect to the nearest POP over IPv6 if that POP also supports it. If the nearest POP does not support IPv6, users can still connect over IPv4.
POPs deployed in regions outside China, including Hong Kong (China), Macao (China), and Taiwan (China), do not support IPv6.
Procedure
Log on to the ApsaraVideo VOD console.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Configuration Management > CDN Configuration > Domain Names.
On the Domain Names page, find the domain name that you want to manage and click Configure in the Actions column.
On the Basic Configuration tab, find the IPv6 section.
Turn on the IPv6 switch.
