After you set up the remaining quota alert feature for your resource plan, the system will automatically send notifications via text message, email, and internal message when usage falls below the preset threshold. This enables you to adjust resource configurations or manually repurchase resource plans as needed, effectively preventing business interruptions or service unavailability due to resource depletion, while managing burst costs.
Function introduction
Setting remaining quota alerts serves the following purposes:
-
Prevent Insufficient Resource Deduction: The system notifies you via text message, email, or internal message when the remaining amount of the resource plan dips below the set threshold, allowing you to take timely actions such as purchasing a new resource plan or adjusting usage policies.
-
Reduce Burst Costs: The alert mechanism enables you to plan resource usage in advance to prevent triggering the pay-as-you-go model due to resource depletion, which could lead to additional expenses.
Precautions
-
The commitment period for hourly and daily resource plans does not support alerts for remaining quotas.
-
Monthly and non-periodic resource plans support remaining quota alerts. Monthly plans, including calendar month, dynamic month, and free trial version monthly, will send a reminder once when the remaining quota reaches the set ratio and again when the quota is exhausted in each cycle. Non-periodic plans will send a reminder once when the remaining quota reaches the set ratio and again when the quota is exhausted within the validity period.
-
Monthly (including calendar month, dynamic month, and free trial version monthly): You will receive a reminder when the remaining quota reaches the predetermined ratio and another when the quota is fully used within each cycle.
-
Non-periodic: You will receive a reminder when the remaining quota reaches the predetermined ratio and another when the quota is depleted within the validity period.
-
-
If the unified quota alert for the resource plan is disabled, newly purchased resource plans will not automatically enable the alert feature and will require manual reactivation.
