This topic describes the features that are in invitational preview and the features that are supported only in specific regions.

Features in invitational preview

The local transaction feature is in invitational preview and is supported in all regions. You need to submit a ticket to enable this feature.

Features supported in specific regions

The search index, Tunnel Service, TimeSeries model, SQL query, data delivery, data encryption, data backup, zone-redundant storage (ZRS), and Instance Policy features are supported only in specific regions. The following table describes the features that are supported only in specific regions.

Tablestore provides two instance types: high-performance and capacity. The supported instance types may vary based on the region. For more information about the instance types supported in each region, see Instances.
