The homepage of the Simple Log Service console contains multiple sections, including Log Application, Quick Data Import, Projects, and Commonly Used Documents.

Log Application: You can access various applications. For more information, see Log Audit Service, CloudLens, Full-stack Observability, and New Cost Manager.

Projects: A project in Simple Log Service is a resource management unit. A project can contain resources such as Logstores, Metricstores, and machine groups. You can access a project to access Simple Log Service resources. For more information about how to view, create, delete, and modify a project, see Manage a project.

Watchlist: You can find a project and click Add to Watchlist in the Actions column to add the project to the watchlist.

Commonly Used Documents: You can view commonly used documents. You can also click Password-free Share Management to manage shared dashboards.

Quick Data Import: You can use different methods to import data to Simple Log Service. For more information, see Collect text logs from servers, Collect text logs from Kubernetes containers in DaemonSet mode, Import data from OSS to Simple Log Service, and Data collection overview.

Usage & Billing Management:

  • You can click Usage Details to go to the Billable Resource Monitoring page of the CloudLens for SLS application. On this page, you can view the billable resource usage of Simple Log Service. For more information, see Billable Resource Monitoring.

  • You can click Resource Plan Details to go to the Manage Reserved Instances page of the Expenses and Costs console. On this page, you can view the resource plan usage of Simple Log Service. For more information, see View the usage details of a resource plan.

  • You can click Purchase Resource Plan to go to the buy page of resource plans. For more information, see Overview of resource plans.
