Simple Log Service integrates the Real User Monitoring (RUM) sub-service of Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS) provided by Alibaba Cloud. You can use RUM to monitor various client applications, such as browsers, apps, HTML5 pages, and mini programs. RUM traces the real experience of user sessions, efficiently identifies performance bottlenecks, and promotes the iterations and updates of services based on the analysis of performance metrics, such as page performance, network requests, resource loading, JavaScript errors, and failures.
Multi-client support
You can integrate multi-client applications, such as browsers, mobile apps, and mini programs into RUM in a simple and flexible manner and obtain application performance data without the need for instrumentation.
Quick integration
To collect application performance data, you need to only add dependencies to frontend application projects and configure initialization code without the need for instrumentation.
End-to-end monitoring
RUM replays user sessions to trace errors, delays, and exceptions that occur when users interact with applications. RUM provides end-to-end network analysis in conjunction with Application Monitoring to facilitate troubleshooting.
Log query
RUM stores logs in Simple Log Service. You can use Simple Log Service to query logs. RUM integrates metric data with ARMS Prometheus. You can use ARMS Prometheus to manage RUM metric data.
Data exploration
RUM provides data exploration capabilities to help you analyze metric data in a flexible manner when you regularly trace errors. You can analyze data based on all dimensions and metrics. You can configure dimensions and metrics as filter conditions to obtain data, troubleshoot errors, and identify the root causes of the errors.
Visualization
In addition to the regular analysis capabilities implemented in console pages, RUM provides out-of-the-box Grafana dashboards to help you visualize monitoring data. You can create custom dashboards based on your business requirements.
