A materialized view is a dataset that is pre-calculated based on a defined SELECT statement and stored in a special table in ApsaraDB for SelectDB. Materialized views are used to analyze raw detailed data based on a dimension. Materialized views are also used to quickly analyze and query data based on the specified dimensions.
