ApsaraDB for SelectDB:Delete a cluster

If you no longer need a cluster, you can delete the cluster. This topic describes how to delete a cluster from an ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance.

Prerequisites

  • An ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance is created.

  • A cluster is created in the ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance.

Usage notes

  • A pay-as-you-go ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance must have at least one pay-as-you-go cluster. If only one pay-as-you-go cluster exists in the pay-as-you-go ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance, you cannot delete the pay-as-you-go cluster.

  • A subscription ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance must have at least one subscription cluster. If only one subscription cluster exists in the subscription ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance, you cannot delete the subscription cluster.

Procedure

Warning

After you delete a cluster, all the cached data of the cluster is deleted and cannot be restored, but the stored data is retained. Proceed with caution.

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for SelectDB console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the instance that you want to manage resides.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances. On the Instances page, find the instance and click the instance ID. The Instance Details page appears.

  4. In the left-side pane of the Instance Details page, click Cluster Management.

  5. On the Cluster Management page, find the cluster that you want to delete, click the More icon in the Actions column, and then select Delete.

  6. In the message that appears, click OK.
