This topic describes how to release a pay-as-you-go instance or unsubscribe from a subscription instance that you no longer require in the ApsaraDB for SelectDB console.
After an ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance is deleted, all resources and data of the instance are deleted and cannot be restored. Proceed with caution.
Prerequisites
The ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance is in the Running state.
Procedure
Release a pay-as-you-go instance
Log on to the ApsaraDB for SelectDB console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance resides.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances. On the Instances page, find the instance, click More in the Actions column, and then select Release.
In the Release Instance message, read the information and click OK.
Unsubscribe from a subscription instance
Log on to the ApsaraDB for SelectDB console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the ApsaraDB for SelectDB instance resides.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances. On the Instances page, find the instance, click More in the Actions column, and then select Unsubscribe.
In the Unsubscribe from Instance message, read the information and click OK.
Go to the Expenses and Costs console and unsubscribe from the subscription instance as prompted. For more information about the unsubscription rules and refund flow, see Rules for unsubscribing from resources and Refund flow.
