Billable items
The following table describes the billable items of ApsaraDB for SelectDB.
Billable item | Billing method | Description |
Computing resources |
| Computing resource fee = Unit price of computing resources × Number of compute capacity units (CCUs) of computing resources × Subscription or usage duration. Note 1 CCU is equal to 1 CPU core and 4 GB of memory. The number of CPU cores that you can purchase is an integral multiple of 1, and the memory size that you can purchase is an integral multiple of 4. |
Cache size |
| Cache size fee = Unit price of cache size × Cache size × Subscription or usage duration. |
Storage resources |
| Storage resource fee = Unit price of storage resources × Used storage space × Usage duration |
Computing resources
CCUs are used to execute service requests and return results. The instance performance is positively correlated to the computing resource specifications that you purchase. 1 CCU is equal to 1 CPU core and 4 GB of memory.

Billing examples
Subscription
You purchase a subscription instance for one month in the Singapore region. The subscription instance has 4 CCUs and 200 GB of cache. If the instance stores data of 500 GB during this month, the total monthly fee of the instance is USD 192. The fees of billable items are calculated based on the following formulas:
Computing resource fee = USD 36.980 per CCU-month × 4 CCUs × 1 month = USD 147.92.
Cache size fee = USD 0.152 per GB-month × 200 GB × 1 month = USD 30.40.
Storage resource fee = USD 0.000038 per GB-hour × 500 GB × 30 days × 24 hours = USD 13.68.
Pay-as-you-go
You purchase a pay-as-you-go instance in the Singapore region and use the instance for one hour. The instance has 4 CCUs and 200 GB of cache. If the instance stores data of 500 GB during this hour, the total fee of the instance is USD 0.347. The fees of billable items are calculated based on the following formulas:
Computing resource fee = USD 0.069170 per CCU-hour × 4 CCUs × 1 hour = USD 0.277.
Cache size fee = USD 0.000253 per GB-hour × 200 GB × 1 hour = USD 0.051.
Storage resource fee = USD 0.000038 per GB-hour × 500 GB × 1 hour = USD 0.019.
