PolarDB:Parameter settings

Procedure

1. Log on to the PolarDB-X console.

2. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the instance is deployed.

3. On the Instances page, click the PolarDB-X 2.0 tab.

4. Find the instance from which you want to detach the data disk and click the instance ID.

5. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Configuration Management > Parameter Settings. On the page that appears, you can modify the parameters of the Compute Layer or Storage Layer.

   Change the value of a parameter on the Calculation layer tab

   1. On the Calculation layer tab, find the parameter whose value you want to change, and enter the new value in the Current value column.

      

   Change the value of a parameter on the Storage Layer tab

   1. Click the Storage Layer tab.

   2. Find the parameter whose value you want to change, and specify the new value in the Current Value column.

      

   Note

   • Enter a parameter value that is specified in the Modification Scope column on the right of the parameter. Otherwise, you receive an error message after you click Submit.

   • You can move the pointer over the icon next to the name of a parameter to view the parameter description.

   • For more information about all parameters, see Parameters.

6. In the upper-left corner of the page, click Submit.

   Note

   If the value in the Restart column of a parameter is Yes, you must restart the instance for the new Parameter Value to take effect after you click Submit.

7. In the message that appears, click OK.
