Perform content moderation - Drive and Photo Service - Alibaba Cloud Documentation Center

This topic describes the content moderation feature of Photo and Drive Service (PDS). You can use the feature by calling API operations of PDS.

The content moderation feature is a value-added feature. By default, the feature is disabled for PDS Developer Edition. To enable the feature, contact us.

How content moderation works

Moderation process

Initiate content moderation. The following methods are supported:
- Automatic moderation. When a user uploads a file, PDS automatically moderates the file.
- Manual moderation. You call an API operation to perform content moderation.
Machine review is performed on files. If the review result cannot indicate whether there is a violation, perform manual review.
After the review is completed, you can obtain the review result by using the event notification feature or by calling an API operation.

Limits

Images

Item	Limit
Image format	PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, and WEBP.
Image size	No more than 20 MB
Pixels	The height or width of an image cannot exceed 30,000 pixels. The number of total pixels of an image cannot exceed 250,000,000. GIF images are limited to 4,194,304 pixels, with a maximum height or width of 30,000 pixels.

Videos

Item	Limit
Video format	AVI, FLV, MP4, MPG, ASF, WMV, MOV, WMA, RMVB, RM, FLASH, and TS.
Video size	No more than 2 GB.

The following regions are supported: China (Beijing), China (Shanghai), and China (Shenzhen).
