If you configure an inventory for a bucket for the first time, Object Storage Service (OSS) starts the inventory within half an hour. OSS exports inventory lists based on the specified export frequency.
You can export inventory lists on a weekly or daily basis.
The export speed of inventory lists is independent of the specified export frequency. We recommend that you select an export frequency based on your business scenario.
If you set the export frequency to daily for a bucket, an inventory list is exported for the bucket every day.
If you set the export frequency to weekly for a bucket, an inventory list is exported for the bucket every week. For example, if you configure an inventory for a bucket for the first time on Thursday, an inventory list is exported for the bucket every Thursday.
