To access an Object Storage Service (OSS) bucket over the internal network from an Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance in a different region or a device in an on-premises data center, you can use Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN), Express Connect, leased lines, or virtual private networks (VPNs) to connect to the internal network of the region in which the OSS bucket is located. Then, you can configure a route that directs to the virtual IP address (VIP) ranges of the internal network. This topic describes internal OSS endpoints and VIP ranges for regions in the public cloud and finance cloud.
OSS divides the VIP ranges of the internal network in each region into fixed address ranges. When you configure region-specific routes, you must configure complete routes based on the VIP ranges described in the following table. Otherwise, the network may fail to be connected.
If you access OSS over the internal network from an ECS instance, do not forbid access from the VIP ranges described in the following table in the security group.
The VIP used to access OSS switches between the specified VIP ranges. If you do not add complete VIP ranges, the network cannot be connected and OSS buckets cannot be accessed. In this case, you are liable for consequential loss and damage arising therefrom.

Supported OSS-HDFS regions have the same mappings between the internal endpoints and VIP ranges for OSS regions. For more information about the regions in which OSS-HDFS is available, see Enable OSS-HDFS and grant access permissions.
In this topic, the names of the regions that are marked with an asterisk superscript (*) may be different from those of the regions on the OSS Pricing page or OSS Resource Plan page. However, they both represent the same region. For example, both US-West-1 and US-West indicate the US (Silicon Valley) region. For more information, visit the OSS Pricing page or OSS Resource Plans page.
