Two methods are available to check how much data has been downloaded from a bucket: the OSS console and the Simple Log Service (SLS) console. Use the table below to pick the right one for your situation.
| Method | What you see | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| OSS console | Outbound traffic and page views (PVs) of objects in the bucket | Quick check without any setup |
| Simple Log Service console | PV and additional request details from access logs | Detailed analysis; requires real-time log query to be enabled first |
View download volume in the OSS console
Log on to the OSS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Buckets. On the Buckets page, find and click the target bucket.
In the left-side navigation tree, choose Data Usage > Object Access Statistics.
On the Object Access Statistics page, view the outbound traffic and page views (PVs) of the objects in the bucket.

Real-time log query must be enabled for the bucket before you can use this method. For setup instructions, see Real-time log query.
Log on to the Simple Log Service console.
In the Projects section, click the project that was automatically created when you enabled real-time log query for the bucket.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Dashboard > Dashboards.
