OpenSearch:Disable, enable, or delete a table

Procedure

1. On the Table Management page, find the table that you want to manage, click the More icon in the Actions column, and then select Stopped or Recover to disable or enable the table.

Note: Before you disable a table, make sure that the table has no query or write traffic. Otherwise, your online business may be affected. You cannot disable the last table in an OpenSearch Retrieval Engine Edition instance.

2. View the query traffic on the QPS dashboard in the QRS section of the Metric Monitoring page.

3. View the write traffic on the addQps dashboard in the searcher_rt_build section of the Metric Monitoring page.

Usage notes

1. You can delete a table only when the table is in the Unused state. Therefore, you must disable a table before you can delete it.

2. Each instance must have at least one table. The last table of an instance cannot be deleted.
