If your exclusive computing applications were purchased before November 1, 2020, the applications are billed based on the original billing rules until March 31, 2021.
Changes to the billable items and pricing of OpenSearch Vector Search Edition and Retrieval Engine Edition: From 16:00 to 20:00 on March 8, 2023 (UTC+8), the billable items of OpenSearch Vector Search Edition and Retrieval Engine Edition were optimized and the OpenSearch console was upgraded to provide better services. During the upgrade, you can use the search service, but you cannot purchase OpenSearch instances or change the specifications of instances. After the upgrade, you can purchase and configure storage capacity for a single Searcher worker. The original prices of the Query Result Searcher (QRS) worker and Searcher worker are decreased. This adjustment does not affect the orders that are generated, but may cause changes in subsequent orders. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
OpenSearch Vector Search Edition was optimized and upgraded on July 27, 2023. The new version of OpenSearch Vector Search Edition is specific to vector search scenarios and requires only five steps to complete relevant configurations. If you create an instance after the upgrade, the new version of OpenSearch Vector Search Edition runs on the instance by default. Instances that were created before the upgrade retain the original version. If you want to create instances of the original version, you can choose OpenSearch Retrieval Engine Edition.
