Microservices Engine:Manage services

Last Updated:Apr 07, 2024

After you add a service whose Service Source is set to Fixed Address to a gateway, the endpoint of the backend node that corresponds to the service may change. In this case, if the service is not registered with the service source of the gateway, the gateway cannot dynamically obtain the new endpoint of the backend node. To allow the gateway to obtain the new endpoint, you must modify the service information to manually adjust the endpoint of the backend node that corresponds to the service. This topic describes how to view, modify, and delete a service.

View a service

After a service is created, you can view the service. If a large number of services are available, you can filter and search for services to improve the search efficiency.

  1. Log on to the MSE console. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cloud-native Gateway > Gateways. On the Gateways page, click the name of the gateway.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Routes. On the page that appears, click the Services tab.

  4. Filter services by Service Name or Service Source to view service information.

Modify a service

  4. Find the service that you want to modify, and click Edit in the Actions column. In the Edit Service panel, modify the relevant parameters and click OK.

    Note

You can modify the static IP addresses and Domain Name System (DNS) services that you created. You cannot modify services of other types, such as services imported from a Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) cluster or Nacos instance.

Delete a service

  1. Log on to the MSE console. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

  3. On the Gateways page, click the name of the gateway.

  4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Routes. On the page that appears, click the Services tab.

  5. Find the service that you want to delete, and click Delete in the Actions column. In the Delete message, click OK.
