You must create a notification contact or notification contact group to receive notifications from SchedulerX 2.0. This topic describes how to create a notification contact and a notification contact group in the SchedulerX console.
Create a notification contact and a notification contact group
Create a notification contact
Log on to the SchedulerX console.
Log on to the EDAS console.
In the top navigation bar, select a region.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Alert Contact.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Contact person page, click New contact. On the New contact panel, configure parameters as required.

Enter a unique name for the contact.
Contact group
Select one or more contact groups from the drop-down list.
webhook
Enter the webhook URL that you want to use. WeCom, Lark, and DingTalk are supported. You can configure multiple webhook URLs by separating the URLs with commas (,).
If you use the DingTalk chatbot, you must add the keyword SchedulerX (case-sensitive). Otherwise, the alert information cannot be received.
Confirm the parameter settings and click Complete.
You can add a notification contact to multiple notification contact groups.
Create a notification contact group
Log on to the SchedulerX console.
Log on to the EDAS console.
In the top navigation bar, select a region.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Alert Contact.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Contact person page, click contact group. Then, click New contact group. On the New contact group panel, configure parameters as required.
Click Complete.
A notification group can contain one or more notification contacts.
Related operations
After you create a notification contact or notification contact group, you can perform the following operations to modify or delete the notification contact or notification contact group as required:
Modify a notification contact or notification contact group
Choose Notification management > Contact person. On the Contact person page, find the notification contact or the notification contact group that you want to modify and click Edit in the Operation column.
Delete a notification contact or notification contact group
Choose Notification management > Contact person. On the Contact person page, find the notification contact or the notification contact group that you want to delete and click Delete in the Operation column. If you want to delete multiple notification contacts in a batch, select the check boxes next to the notification contacts that you want to delete and click Batch delete in the lower-left corner.
ImportantIf you delete a notification contact, this notification contact is automatically deleted from the corresponding notification contact group.
If you delete a notification contact group, the notification contacts in this notification contact group are not deleted.
Configure a notification contact group for an application
SchedulerX 2.0 allows you to configure a notification contact for an application. Multiple notification channels are supported, including text messages, phone calls, emails, and webhooks. The Contact: parameter has the following valid values:
Contact group: After you create a notification contact group and a notification contact, you can select the notification contact group as the notification method when you create or modify your application. This way, all notification contacts in the notification contact group can receive notifications. For more information, see Create an application.
user-defined: You must configure at least one contact.
To use the notification contact group feature, you must upgrade SchedulerX to SchedulerX 2.0 Professional Edition.
