This topic describes how to create an instance, manage an instance, manage the virtual private cloud (VPC) of an instance, and configure a public IP address whitelist in the Microservices Engine (MSE) console.
Create an instance
You can create Nacos or ZooKeeper instances in the MSE console without the need to create and maintain resources. This allows you to concentrate on business development. You can create an instance by using one of the following methods. For more information, see Create an instance.
Purchase an instance on the MSE product page. This method is suitable for the scenario in which you have not activated Microservices Registry.
Create an instance in the MSE console. This method is suitable for the scenario in which you have activated Microservices Registry.
Manage an instance
After an MSE Nacos or ZooKeeper instance is successfully created, you can view its basic information, restart the instance, or release the instance. For more information, see Manage an instance.
Manage the VPC of an instance
VPC management for an instance involves the following operations. For the detailed configuration steps, see Manage the VPC of an instance.
Configure a VPC for an instance whose network type is Internet. This helps improve network stability.
Change the VPC of an instance during the application migration process.
Configure a public IP address whitelist
Configure a public IP address whitelist for an instance to allow access only from specific IP addresses. This improves the security of the instance. For more information, see Configure a public IP address whitelist.
