The alert management feature of Microservices Engine (MSE) Microservices Registry is used to monitor the running status of services and identify and handle issues at the earliest opportunity to ensure service stability. This feature enables real-time tracking of service performance, including availability, response time, and error rates. Alerts are triggered and sent to O&M personnel for handling issues when metrics exceed predefined thresholds. The alert management feature also help O&M personnel track the source of the issue for fast troubleshooting. This topic describes how to view alerts of an MSE engine, configure alert rules, and set up a DingTalk chatbot for alert notifications.
Manage alert contacts
MSE sends notifications to contacts in a specified contact group when alerts are triggered. You must add contact information to a contact group to ensure that alerts can be sent through mobile phones or emails. For more information, see Manage alert contacts.
Manage alert rules
You can create alert rules in Microservices Registry. If alert rules are matched, MSE sends alert notifications to you by using emails, text messages, or DingTalk messages in real time. This helps you identify errors at the earliest opportunity. You can also enable, disable, and delete alert rules and add tags for alert rules. For more information, see Manage alert rules.
Configure default alert rules
You can configure default alert rules for an MSE instance in Microservices Registry. For more information, see Configure default alert rules.
Configure a DingTalk chatbot to send alert notifications
The alert management feature of MSE allows you to receive alert notifications by using DingTalk groups. When you configure a DingTalk chatbot to send alert notifications, you can specify DingTalk groups to receive alert notifications. For more information, see Configure a DingTalk chatbot to send alert notifications.
