Overdue payments

Overdue payments of SMQ are handled by using the following methods:

• The billing cycle of SMQ is one hour. You can view the bill of the previous hour in the SMQ console. The amount is deducted from the balance of your Alibaba Cloud account. A bill is generated within one hour after the current billing cycle ends.

• If your account balance is insufficient to pay the bill and your payment is overdue for more than seven days, Alibaba Cloud will suspend SMQ. This indicates that you can no longer use the SMQ API. After the specified validity period ends, unprocessed messages are automatically deleted and cannot be restored.
