This topic describes how to configure multiple vSwitches for a Lindorm instance.
Background information
Lindorm Distributed Processing System (LDPS) uses the IP addresses provided by vSwitches to run tasks. If the IP addresses provided by vSwitches are insufficient for LDPS to run a task, the task may fail. You can configure multiple vSwitches for your Lindorm instances to obtain sufficient IP addresses. A Lindorm instance uses and releases IP addresses based on the actual requirements.
Procedure
Log on to the Lindorm console.
In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where the instance is deployed.
On the Instances page, click the ID of the target instance or click View Instance Details in the Actions column for the instance.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Compute Engine.
Click the O&M Management tab.
Click Modify. In the Configure vSwitch dialog box, select one or more vSwitches that have a sufficient number of available IP addresses.
NoteIf you create a new vSwitch, ensure that it is in the same zone as the Lindorm instance. For more information, see Create and manage vSwitches.
The Configure vSwitch dialog box displays only vSwitches that are in the same zone as the Lindorm instance.
You can select up to five vSwitches.
Click OK.
