    :Activate the streaming engine

    This topic describes how to activate the streaming engine after you create a Lindorm instance.

    Prerequisites

    A Lindorm instance is created. For more information, see Create an instance.

    Limits

    The Lindorm streaming engine is supported only by subscription Lindorm instances.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the Lindorm console.

    2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where the instance is deployed.

    3. On the Instances page, click the ID of the instance that you want to manage or click Manage in the Actions column corresponding to the instance.

    4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Stream Engine.
    5. Click Activate Now to activate the streaming engine.
    6. On the Change Specification page, configure a node specification and the number of nodes for your streaming engine, and read and select the terms of service.
      Note If you have questions about how to configure node specifications for the streaming engine, submit a ticket or send feedback to the DingTalk group. For more information, see Technical support.
    7. After the node configurations are complete, click Buy Now. The state of your Lindorm instance changes to Scaling out Node. After approximately 5 to 10 minutes, the state of your Lindorm instance changes to Running. Then, you can use this instance.
