:Failed to add the DingTalk notification method in the DMS console

Problem description

On the Modify Notification page of the Alibaba Cloud DMS console, if you select the DingTalk notification method and specify the mobile phone number, the following error occurs.

Add failed! add DingTalk user account failure: add DingTalk user account failure: The user needs his consent to add, and an invitation has been sent to the other party. 

Cause

DMS verifies the validity of the DingTalk account, while the DingTalk security settings are required by default.

Solution

You can refer to one of the following methods:

• On the PC side:
  Log on to the DingTalk number. You will receive a team invitation. You can click Agree and then add the DingTalk notification method in the DMS console.
• Mobile terminal:
  Log on to the DingTalk number, turn on the Settings of the DingTalk, and then click Privacy. Uncheck Verify When Team Add Me, and then add the DingTalk notification method in the DMS console.
