Go to the Real-time Monitoring page of the IoT Platform console. On the Overview tab, you can view the number of online devices, number of upstream and downstream messages, and number of messages that are forwarded by the rules engine.
View data metrics
Log on to the IoT Platform console.
On the Overview page, click All environment. On the All environment tab, find the instance that you want to manage and click the instance ID or instance name.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Overview tab, select a product and a time range that you want to query. You can specify 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, or a custom time range within 7 days.
NoteThe system collects data once every minute.
Delays occur during data collection.
Data metrics
The following table describes the data metrics that are displayed on the Overview tab.
Metric | Description |
Online Devices | The number of devices that have established persistent connections with IoT Platform. The data is displayed based on the types of protocols that are used to communicate with IoT Platform. |
Messages Sent to IoT Platform | The number of messages that devices send to IoT Platform. The data is displayed based on the types of protocols that are used to connect to IoT Platform. |
Messages Sent from IoT Platform | The number of messages sent from IoT Platform to devices and servers. The data is displayed based on the types of protocols that are used to connect to IoT Platform. |
Messages Forwarded Through Rules Engine | The number of messages forwarded by the rules engine. The data is displayed based on the destination cloud services to which messages are forwarded. |
