If you want to use the domain name for CDN to accelerate content delivery in the Chinese mainland or global regions, you must apply for an Internet Content Provider (ICP) filing for the domain name for CDN. - Acceleration in regions outside the Chinese mainland such as Hong Kong (China), Macau (China), and Taiwan (China): no. Instead, you must apply for a Public Security Bureau (PSB) filing.
Note If you have applied for an ICP filing for the website domain name www.example.com, you do not need to apply for ICP filings for its subdomains. We recommend that you use a subdomain as the domain name for CDN, such as video.example.com or *.example.com. - Do I need to add Alibaba Cloud to the ICP filing information as a service provider?
Before you can use Alibaba Cloud CDN to accelerate content delivery for a domain name in the Chinese mainland or global regions, make sure that you have obtained an ICP filing for the domain name from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). You are not required to add Alibaba Cloud to the ICP filing information as a service provider.
