Hybrid Cloud Storage Array (HCSA) integrates on-premises storage with Alibaba Cloud Object Storage Service (OSS) to provide a variety of cloud features.

HCSA allows you to scale on-premises storage by using cloud storage space in cloud cache, cloud replication, and cloud tiering modes.

Cloud backup

The automatic cloud backup mode simplifies data management and maintenance. In this mode, you can create snapshots at different points in time in the on-premises storage of your array. Then, you can upload the snapshots to the specified OSS bucket on Alibaba Cloud to back up data.

Cloud replication

The file-level cloud replication mode balances the array performance and data protection. In this mode, data is bidirectionally mirrored between folders in the on-premises storage and folders in the cloud.
