:VPN Gateway events

This topic describes the types of VPN Gateway events that CloudMonitor or Cloud Config monitors and can be published to EventBridge.

Event types

The following table describes the types of VPN Gateway events that can be published to EventBridge.

A certificate expires

A health check fails

A health check is successful

vpn:CloudMonitor:IpsecHealthCheckSuccess

Phase 1 negotiation for an IPsec-VPN connection fails

vpn:CloudMonitor:IpsecPhase1NegoFailed

Phase 1 negotiation for an IPsec-VPN connection is successful

vpn:CloudMonitor:IpsecPhase1NegoSuccess

Phase 2 negotiation for an IPsec-VPN connection fails

vpn:CloudMonitor:IpsecPhase2NegoFailed

Phase 2 negotiation for an IPsec-VPN connection is successful

Resource change logs are delivered

vpn:Config:ConfigurationItemChangeNotification

A notification that a resource is evaluated as non-compliant is sent

vpn:Config:NonCompliantNotification
