Edge Load Balancer (ELB) instances are internal-facing. If you want an ELB instance to forward requests from the Internet, you can associate an elastic IP address (EIP) with the ELB instance.
Prerequisites
An EIP is created. For more information, see Create and manage edge EIPs. If you associate an EIP with an ELB instance, you are charged the Internet traffic fee by the EIP. For more information, see Billing.
Procedure
When you associate an EIP with an internal-facing ELB instance, the service that runs on the ELB instance is temporarily interrupted. We recommend that you perform this operation during off-peak hours or switch your service to another ELB instance first.
Log on to the ENS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the ELB Instance page, find the ELB instance that you want to manage and choose .
On the Associate Public IP Address page, select the EIP that you want to use.
Click OK.
