This topic describes the corporate carbon accounting tool of Energy Expert.
The corporate carbon accounting tool of Energy Expert is mainly used for greenhouse gas (GHG) emission accounting for companies, organizations, factories, and activities, which aims to help users comprehensively and accurately quantify the GHG emissions during operation. It is an important auxiliary tool to help enterprises achieve green transition and their sustainable development goals. The corporate carbon accounting tool follows internationally recognized carbon footprint calculation standards, such as ISO 14064-1 and the GHG Protocol. This ensures the accuracy and international comparability of the assessment results.
The carbon accounting tool consists of two modules: Carbon Accounting and Emission Analysis. In the Carbon Accounting module, you can customize a carbon accounting template based on your business requirements. The template includes the emission category, emission facility or activity, emission source, activity data, and impact factor. After you configure the carbon accounting template and fill in the activity data, the platform can automatically calculate GHG emissions. You can view the results and related analysis online in the Emission Analysis module. You can also download the data or export the carbon accounting report.
