ID Verification:Purchase a data transfer plan

Background information

• If the number of successful verifications or calls does not exceed the limit of the data transfer plan that you purchase, you are not charged additional fees.

• If the limit is exceeded, you are charged for the excess part based on the pay-as-you-go billing method.

  Note

  • After you purchase a data transfer plan, you cannot upgrade the data transfer plan. If the data transfer plan cannot meet your business requirements, you can purchase more data transfer plans or a data transfer plan that has higher specifications.

  • By default, a data transfer plan is valid for one year from the date of purchase. After a data transfer plan expires, the plan becomes invalid and can no longer be used to offset fees.

Prerequisites

ID Verification - KYC is activated. For more information, see Activate ID Verification - KYC.

Procedure

1. Go to the Data Transfer Plan for ID Verification page and log on to your Alibaba Cloud account.

2. Configure the parameters. The following table describes the parameters.

   Parameter	Description
   Region	The region that is covered by the data transfer plan. Default value: China (Hong Kong).
   Data Transfer Plan Type	The type of the data transfer plan. Valid values: Data Transfer Plan for eKYC: You can use this type of data transfer plan to offset the fees of calls when you use the eKYC verification solution. Data Transfer Plan for Face Liveness Verification: You can use this type of data transfer plan to offset the fees of calls when you use the face liveness verification solution. Data Transfer Plan for Liveness Detection: You can use this type of data transfer plan to offset the fees of calls when you use the liveness detection solution. Data Transfer Plan for Face Comparison: You can use this type of data transfer plan to offset the fees of calls when you use the face comparison solution. Data Transfer Plan for OCR: You can use this type of data transfer plan to offset the fees of calls when you use the document optical character recognition (OCR) solution. Data Transfer Plan for Two-element Identity Verification: You can use this type of data transfer plan to offset the fees of calls when you use the two-element identity verification solution. Data transfer plan for three-element verification for phone numbers: You can use this type of data transfer plan to offset the fees of calls when you use the three-element verification solution for phone numbers. General data transfer plan: You can use this type of data transfer plan to offset the fees of calls when you use the three-element verification solution for all phone numbers that are provided by China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom. Carrier-specific data transfer plan: You can use this type of data transfer plan to offset the fees of calls when you use the three-element verification solution for specific phone numbers that are provided by China Mobile, China Telecom, or China Unicom. Note If you purchase a general data transfer plan and a carrier-specific data transfer plan, the latter is preferentially used to offset fees.    Data Transfer Plan Specifications	The specifications of the data transfer plan. This parameter specifies the number of calls whose fees you can offset by using the plan. You can obtain a greater discount when you purchase a data transfer plan that has higher specifications. Valid values: 100 Times and 5,000 Times 20 Thousand Times 50 Thousand Times 200 Thousand Times 500 Thousand Times 1 Million Times You can select specifications based on the estimated number of calls and the planned usage duration. For example, if your business requires an average of 150 calls per day and you want to use a data transfer plan for approximately one year, you can select 50 Thousand Times for Data Transfer Plan Specifications because the required number of calls is 54,000 times in total.
   Subscription Duration	The validity period of the data transfer plan. Valid values: 3 Months 6 Months 1 Year
   Quantity	The number of data transfer plans that you want to purchase.

3. Click Buy Now and complete the payment.

After you complete the payment, you can view your bill and the usage details of your data transfer plan in the Expenses and Costs console. For more information, see Query bills and resource usage.
