    ID Verification:Authorize a RAM user to access ID Verification - KYC (Global)

    You can use a Resource Access Management (RAM) user to access ID Verification - KYC (Global). KYC is short for Know Your Customer. You can create a RAM user and grant the RAM user the permissions to call the SDKs or API of ID Verification - KYC (Global). You can also grant the RAM user the permissions to only view the call details. This topic describes how to create a RAM user and grant permissions to the RAM user. This topic also describes how to create an AccessKey pair to call the SDKs or API of ID Verification - KYC (Global).

    Prerequisites

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the Resource Access Management (RAM) console with an Alibaba Cloud account.

    2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Identities > Users.

    3. Optional: Click Create User to create a RAM user. If you have created a RAM user, skip this step. For more information, see Create a RAM user.

    4. Grant permissions on ID Verification - KYC (Global) to the RAM user.

      1. On the Users page, find the RAM user to which you want to grant permissions and click Add Permissions in the Actions column.

      2. In the Add Permissions panel, click the policy that you want to attach to the RAM user in the Authorization Policy Name column on the left.

        Note

        In the Selected section on the right, you can click the cross (×) to the right of a policy to remove the policy.

        The following table describes the system policies that are supported by ID Verification - KYC (Global). You can enter the keyword of a policy name in the search box to find the policy and attach the policy to the RAM user based on your business requirements.

        This policy allows you to perform the following operations:

        • Call the SDKs and API of ID Verification - KYC (Global).

        • View the information about the call details.

        Management permissions on the Console of ID Verification - KYC (Global).

        This policy allows you to perform the following operations:

        • Log on to the ID Verification Console and view the statistics report of API calls.

        • Search and check the detail result of cases.

    5. Click OK.

    6. Click Complete.

    7. Optional: If you want to call the SDKs or API of ID Verification - KYC (Global) by using the RAM user, create an AccessKey pair for the RAM user for identity authentication when you initiate a call. For more information about how to create an AccessKey pair for a RAM user, see Create an AccessKey pair.

      Note

      We recommend that you create an AccessKey pair only for only RAM users that you want to use to call the SDKs or API of ID Verification - KYC (Global).

    After the authorization is complete, you can use the RAM user to integrate ID Verification - KYC (Global) with your app or view information about the call details.
