When the dispatch rule in a notification policy is triggered, Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) sends alert notifications to the contacts that you specified. Alert notifications can be sent to contacts by using phone calls, text messages, emails, and DingTalk chatbots.
Create a contact
Log on to the EDAS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click . In the top navigation bar, select a region. In the upper part of the page, select a namespace. Select Container Service or Serverless Kubernetes Cluster from the Cluster Type drop-down list. Then, find the application that you want to deploy and click the application name.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Contact tab, click Create Contact in the upper-right corner.
In the Create Contact dialog box, enter a contact name, enter the mobile number, email address, or webhook URL of a DingTalk chatbot for the contact, specify whether to receive system notifications, and then click OK.
ImportantYou must set at least one of the Mobile Number, Mailbox, and DingTalk Robot parameters. Each mobile number or email address can be used for only one contact.
You can create up to 100 contacts within your Alibaba Cloud account.

To set a mobile number in a notification policy, you must verify the mobile number first. For more information, see Verify a mobile number.
Verify a mobile number
You must verify a mobile number before you set the number in a notification policy.
Log on to the EDAS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click . In the top navigation bar, select a region. In the upper part of the page, select a namespace. Select Container Service or Serverless Kubernetes Cluster from the Cluster Type drop-down list. Then, find the application that you want to deploy and click the application name.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Contact tab, select one or more contacts whose mobile numbers you want to verify.
To verify the mobile number of a single contact, find the contact and click Not verified next to the mobile number.
To verify the mobile numbers of multiple contacts at a time, select the contacts and click Batch Verification.
The system sends verification messages to the contacts.
Use a browser to visit the URL in the text message.
On the verification page, verify the mobile number as required.
Manage contacts
After you create a contact, you can search for, edit, and delete the contact on the Contact tab.
To search for a contact, select Name, Cell Phone Number, or Email from the drop-down list on the Contact tab. Enter the exact contact name, mobile number, or email address of the contact, and then click the search icon.
To edit a contact, find the contact and click Edit in the Actions column. In the Edit Contacts dialog box, modify the information as required and then click OK.
To delete a contact, find the contact and click Delete in the Operation column. In the message that appears, click OK.
To delete multiple contacts at a time, select the contacts and click Batch Delete. In the message that appears, click OK.
