Domain name registration
You cannot register a domain name if any of the following conditions apply.
To allow a Resource Access Management (RAM) user to register or renew a domain name in the console or by calling the relevant API, configure the required permissions.
The domain name is involved in legal proceedings, such as litigation or arbitration, or subject to penalties.
The domain name is a special name reserved by the domain name registry.
The domain name contains sensitive terms prohibited by regulatory policies. When you choose a domain name, follow the naming rules for domain names.
ICP filing
The Alibaba Cloud international site (alibabacloud.com) uses registrars outside the Chinese mainland. Therefore, domain names registered on the international site do not support ICP filing. If your website or service needs to be deployed in the Chinese mainland, you must register the domain name on the Alibaba Cloud China site (aliyun.com) and complete the ICP filing. Otherwise, your service may be inaccessible from the Chinese mainland.
